Cycle, Run,Walk & Hike - Glen / Atlantic Drive Downings
Annual Charity Event in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation, extended this year to include 6 events over 2 days. There are 2 events starting @ 12am on Saturday 7th. A gentle 3-5 mile walk in the Glen area for all abilities also 8K run starting from Kill up High Glen & returning to Kill via Carnagore. Followed @ 2pm by road cycling event beginning in Glen, travelling the Atlantic Drive & returning to Glen (16 miles). Events on Sunday the 8th start @12am Mountain Biking on tough terrain & stamina testing hills (approx 10 miles). Finally @ 2pm the final 2 events starting from Glenree football pitch with a Hike that will be slightly more challenging than Saturday's walk on the same route as the Sheephaven Bay 10K @ 2pm, not for the faint hearted.
